Overview

This update introduces the first change from the Slick slider framework used so far in Nulumia themes, to the bundled LightSlider framework within Xenforo. This has been a long-planned change going forward on Xenforo 2.2, although Slick will still be retained in Nulumia themes as a fallback for several versions.

The Logo Icon & Featured Content carousels are now running on LightSlider, however this migration will soon make its way to all Nulumia theme features - including the Slideshow, product pages, and addons.

As Nulumia themes have supported using Slick for custom content sliders (using the provided macros), these features will continue to run until Slick is fully removed.

This change to LightSlider will provide cleaner, faster themes - both in real use, and in import & install!

A few questions on this theme please, couldn't identify answers within the Documentation or Live Demo ...

• Can the secondary/sub navigation (eg. 'New Posts' underneath 'Forums') be always displayed? (Instead of having to click on the primary navigation to reveal the sub-navigation options)
• What's the best way to demo the style for mobile/tablet viewports? Does the Live Demo have an option, or should use browser developer options?
• Is there an option for different(smaller) logo between desktop and tablet/mobile view ports?
• Can icons be used to add/replace to the primary navigation? Can they be used for sub-navigation too? If so, can you distinguish the option for this between desktop and off-canvas tablet/mobile menus?

Overview

This update further focuses on the forum & node list, by heavily improving the included Node Grid feature. The new grid system was rewritten with improved Flexbox HTML, and handles much better on various screen sizes and when compacted to smaller layouts. Additionally, the fluid & fixed width nodes option now handles equally well - as previously, the fluid option was recommended to prevent visual bugs in certain browsers.

While all existing themes will ship with the fluid-width Node Grid in place, the fixed-width layout will be the preferred mode in all new themes.

Additionally, updated compatibility with TH Nodes addon has been tested. In the case of using this addon, it is still recommended to disable the included Node Grid in Nulumia themes (or vice versa) as your preferred choice.

The Rich Text Editor has also received improvements:

If you are an existing license holder, keep an eye on your notifications for when you can download your new theme update.

Overview

This is a Beta release containing some new features to the header & navigation. This is not a recommended or critical update, so please read the changelog or relevant discussion threads before installing this version. Included changes will be rolled out with improvements, and across other Nulumia themes, with ongoing feedback.

This release adds a new setting to combine the navigation and sub-navigation elements into one single element, which can be useful in applying shared styling (such as background color or image). This setting can also work with the Nulumia Compact Header, or the default Xenforo header (logo placed above the nav).

Further, the Compact Header can now be showed to either all visitors, or logged-in or logged-out visitors specifically.

It is recommended to import this beta theme first as a standalone theme alongside your master theme, not overwriting it. This way, you can experiment with changes first before overwriting your master theme.

In case of encountering issues after overwriting your master theme, it is safe to roll-back by re-importing the last stable version.

Overview

This release brings numerous bug fixes and improvements, along with update to Xenforo 2.2.3. Notably, an issue in some themes which could cause XFMG media widgets to not display has been fully ironed out. Improvements were made to message & conversation views, along with new style compatibility for third-party addons.

Motortrend changes

The sub-navigation links have been correctly changed back to displaying in dropdowns, rather than displaying the sub-navigation. This was incorrectly changed in a recent version. You can set this option via the [Nulumia] Header & Navigation property group.

Also, a very minor change was made to the red accent icon above the Featured Carousel default title, to work with the new slider.

If you've customized the Inline CSS field for the Featured Carousel, you should search for this entry and change to the following:
